Well, it’s another day in the books and another day closer to getting Madi in our hot little hands!!! Right now we are packing our bags for an early morning flight to Madi’s province tomorrow morning. Around 1:30pm Monday afternoon (about 1:30am Monday morning back on good ole’ Auburndale time), Madi will be in our arms! We cannot wait.
Today was another awesome day of sights here in Beijing. We went to the Forbidden City. Like the Great Wall, it is something that words cannot adequately describe. It was amazing to stand among all the history in that place.

Afterwards, we took rickshaw rides through a rural area of Beijing. It was a great opportunity to learn a bit more about current culture and not just the historic aspect of Beijing.
All that said, tomorrow will be an amazing day. Tonight, we are off to the supermarket for some diet coke and oreos! All this Chinese food is great, but we need some fattening tastes of home!
